The planned project activities were coordinated at an international level in a first international kick-off workshop. This workshop also enabled the project partners to gain insights into national research activities. In national research processes, the state of knowledge on current national greenhouse gas emission trends and climate change risks for the agricultural sector were collected and synthesized. This research work resulted in 2 written contributions and served to bring all project partners to the same level of knowledge. The formulation and prioritization of topic-related national key policy questions are a central result of the first project phase. In the second phase, answers and proposed solutions to the Key Policy Questions were collected in parallel national consultation and research processes and synthesized at international project level. Apart from the project activities at international level, the Austrian project team conducted two stakeholder workshops and wrote four policy briefs. The national policy briefs were each developed in a review process with the international project partners. In addition, the project activities and content could be presented at scientific conferences and transdisciplinary networking forums. |
