| As part of the implementation of EU Directive 2022/2381 aimed at ensuring a more balanced representation of women and men on the boards of listed companies, the Working Life Research Centre, Vienna (FORBA) was commissioned in September 2025 to conduct a study analysing the selection process and the profile of female supervisory board members. The study is intended to identify which specific measures and framework conditions successfully contribute to promoting women on supervisory boards - whether in the areas of education, career path, networking, personal development, or a transparent selection process. Companies should be able to derive targeted approaches for fostering female executives and for increasing diversity on supervisory boards, while women can gain valuable guidance and practical good practices for their own career paths. |
